On Tuesday (Nov. 29), Animal rights advocacy group PETA released a series of stamps, featuring the 20 most influential vegetarians, and Rush, a 13-year vegan, has been chosen, along with Sir Paul McCartney, Ellen DeGeneres, Natalie Portman, Morrissey and historic figures like Gandhi, Leonardo da Vinci, Leo Tolstoy and Pythagoras.
"These are very influential people, and not everyone knows that these folks are vegetarian," PETA VP Lisa Lange told the N.Y. Daily News. "It's just another way to be able to talk about what animals go through in slaughterhouses."
